Inside the Beltline Real Estate Market Update - September 2012
After reviewing the latest Inside the Beltline real estate market update from September 2012 a few key metrics caught my attention. First, the total number of sales Inside the Beltline in Septmember 2012 increased 26.6% from the number of sales for September 2011. 33 more homes sold Inside the Beltline this September!
Second, the days on market Inside the Beltline until sold saw a dramatic decrease from September 2011 compared to September 2012. A decrease 141 days to 115 days. Homes are selling faster!
The last key metric catching my attention was the months supply of inventory of homes for sale Inside the Beltline. Last year we had 10.5 months supply of homes on the market whereas in September 2012 the months supply dropped a whopping 47.6% to 5.5 months supply of homes.
Keep in mind my analysis is focused on changes within one month from one year to the next. Once we reach the end of the year we will have the full picture about the health of the real estate market Inside the Beltline in Raleigh. Overall, Raleigh real estate is looking good.
